PERCIPIO MEDIA
UI Design/Engineer
As
a UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day
operations of our UI team. Your responsibilities will include planning,
designing, and developing multiple UI components for our growing family
of websites. This role requires a creative eye, a solid understanding
of project flow, and the ability to convert your concepts into reality
using the Adobe Creative Suite environment. As a startup, our work
atmosphere can be described as engaging, fast paced, and socially

Required Experience and Skills:
- 5 or more years of experience in the web design/development field
- Technical expertise with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Strong working knowledge of CSS, HTML and DHTML
- Ability and willingness to balance multiple projects at once (multi-task capability)
- Detail oriented with significant emphasis on high quality work
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills
- Understanding
of core usability practices and site optimization methodologies,
including but not limited to enhancements in site click-through,

- Working experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus

Search Engine Marketing Campaign Manager
Responsibilities:
- Design and deployment of campaigns on various search engines;
- Interfacing with account managers and sales teams at various Tier-1 search engines;
- Direct monitoring and reporting of campaign performance;
- Analyze performance data and make recommendations for campaign;
- Configure and operate Percipio’s tools;
- Help coordinate internal creative and web development activities. Discover, define, apply and share best practices;
- Design hypotheses and conduct experiments to optimize campaign performance;
- Analyze
competitor sites to identify keyword expansion, creative optimization,
landing page optimization, site flow improvement, or deal gaps relative
to leading competitors;
Qualifications:
- Exceptional
analytical and quantitative skills demonstrated through professional
experience or academic study in a technical or quantitative discipline;
- An ability to communicate complex technical strategies to both technical and non-technical business audiences;
- Familiarity with introductory statistics concepts;
- Proven ability to rapidly learn new businesses and systems;
- Working knowledge of relational databases is desired;
- Interactive media industry experience or working with/for Tier-1 search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask) is highly desired;
- An ability to work, communicate, and manage multiple priorities at once;

Business Development
Identify and pursue revenue growth opportunities. This is a dynamic
role requiring a deep understanding of Internet advertising, proven
sales ability with a penchant for closing deals and a broad base of
industry contacts.

ADVERPLEX
Search Marketing Manager
The SEM Manager will be
responsible for driving extraordinary performance across one or more
clients, utilizing Adverplex’s proprietary technologies and competitive
intelligence to go above and beyond ordinary PPC management. The SEM
manager will become intimately familiar with both Adverplex’s
technologies and the client’s whole business to determine new avenues
by which the client can dominate their online vertical. This demands an
excellent knowledge of SEM, as well as the ability to connect that
knowledge with opportunities in site design and even back-end
monetization to create value beyond what is possible in a standard
agency model. Creativity and a desire to solve new problems are a must.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of overall work experience with at least 2 in SEM. Thorough familiarity with Google, Yahoo and MSN PPC management.
- Strong grasp of online marketing for lead generation and e-commerce clients.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Above average technical skills, including SQL or other forms of programming are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial/start-up experience.

Senior Software Engineer
Our
data-driven business requires leading-edge, proprietary reporting and
data analysis tools that enable us to better manage highly-optimized
SEM campaigns on behalf of our clients, delivering a level of precision
and performance that our competitors can't match.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your areas of focus would include:
- Tools for managing all aspects of complex SEM campaigns, including optimization of bids in search engine advertising auctions.
- Systems for automating and monitoring internal workflow of campaign management activities.
- Support for on-line analysis of campaign performance, e.g. tools
for efficiently monitoring large data flows to detect important
behavior, visualization of complex data sets, etc.
- Data mining support for analysis of new markets and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Computer Science (advanced degree a big plus)
- 5+ years professional programming experience
- Coding fluency in at least two programming languages
- Experience with several (2+) of the following technical areas:
- Python
- Application-level network protocols, especially HTTP, SOCKS, SSL
- Web application development environments such as PHP, Drupal, Ruby on Rails, TurboGears, etc.
- Web services protocols such as SOAP
- Relational databases and SQL
- Unix/Linux software development (Mac OS X is a plus)

Software Engineer
As a Software
Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to work with our clients
to integrate their data sources with our proprietary systems, to ensure
that we can successfully manage the clients' search engine marketing
campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with clients and our
Client Services team to understand the unique data requirements of each
campaign, develop a project plan to complete the work required, and
implement the plan in a timely manner.
In addition, you will also support development and management of our
web front-end reporting tools, back-end data mining operations, and
campaign operation systems. These tools are the backbone of our
business, enabling us to better manage highly-optimized campaigns on
behalf of our clients. Your innovative ideas will be encouraged at
every step of the development process.
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Computer Science (MS preferred)
- 2+ years professional programming experience
- Coding fluency in at least two programming languages (object-oriented languages a plus)
- Experience designing and programming for relational databases (query tuning is a plus)
- An ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Desirable Experience:
- Web 2.0 development experience (Javascript, CSS, XHTML, etc.)
- Python and Unix/Linux software development experience (Mac OS X a plus)
