David Blundin - Managing Partner




David Blundin is the founder of Link Ventures and serves on the boards of many high technology and internet related companies.  He currently serves as the Chairman of Vestmark, Inc. which he co-founded in 2001.  Vestmark is the leading portfolio accounting platform provider for the managed accounts industry.  David was also the Chairman of CourseAdvisor, Inc., a leader in internet lead generation for the post-secondary education market prior to its sale to The Washington Post Company in 2007. Previously, David was Chief Technologist at Vignette Corporation which had over 1,000 enterprise customers including seven of the top ten firms in the Financial Services sector. Prior to Vignette, David was the founder, CEO and Chairman of DataSage, Inc. DataSage was acquired by Vignette in a half-billion dollar transaction in January of 2000. DataSage's software enabled businesses to centrally capture and analyze all of their electronic interactions - often involving terabytes of information - and use that information to personalize interactions with customers. Prior to 1997, David was the President and CEO of Cirrus Recognition Systems, a data mining software company. Previously, he was among the first ten employees at MicroStrategy and, subsequently, served on Microstrategy's board of directors in 2003 and 2004. David received a BS in Computer Science degree from MIT where he researched neural network technology at the AI lab.


John Giordano - Senior Partner




John Giordano is a Senior Partner at Link Ventures and serves on the boards of several internet related companies.  Prior to joining Link, John served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of WebCT, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of e-learning systems.  During his tenure with the company, he was instrumental in transitioning it to profitability and led the company’s negotiation of all agreements associated with the successful sale of the company to publicly-traded Blackboard, Inc. Prior to joining WebCT, John served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Peritus Software Services, Inc., a publicly traded company. Peritus provided solutions that enabled organizations to improve the quality and effectiveness of the maintenance of their information technology. During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer, John led the company back from a point of extreme financial distress, attracted an equity investment from a private company and successfully completed the sale of the company in June 2001. Prior to joining Peritus, John served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Bull HN Information Systems, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of France’s Group Bull. As CFO and Treasurer, John successfully completed the sale of one of Bull’s software units and led the negotiations on the maintenance aspects of Bull’s sale of certain parts of its businesses to Wang Global. John graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a graduate of Honeywell’s Financial Development Program.


Cynthia Blanco– Chief Financial Officer



Cindy Blanco is the Chief Financial Officer of Link Ventures.  Prior to joining Link, Cindy was a Senior Associate in the Business Valuation Practice at Vitale, Caturano & Company, Ltd., where she was responsible for performing valuations of closely-held businesses for tax and financial reporting purposes. Previous to her position at Vitale, Caturano & Company, Cindy worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at H.C. Wainwright & Co., Inc. and as a Senior Auditor at KPMG LLP. Cindy, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, Inc. Cindy has a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and an MBA and MS in Accounting from Northeastern University.
